The Soul and Consciousness: What Science Still Can’t Explain
How a Baby Forms and How the Soul Connects (Lattice Awakening™ Explanation)
When a man and a woman come together and pregnancy begins, the first thing that forms is the physical body. Tiny cells multiply, organs appear, and the early brain begins wiring itself. This stage is entirely biological — it is the construction of the instrument. But the instrument is not the awareness. In your framework, the soul is the point of consciousness that already exists before the body. It does not come from the parents, nor does it sit “inside” the baby like a small object. Instead, the body is being built as a receiver the soul will eventually use.
As the baby’s brain develops, it forms the circuits for sensing, emotion, memory, attention, and coherence. These circuits do not create consciousness; they create the interface through which consciousness can express itself. When the brain becomes organized enough, the soul begins to link with the forming body — not fully, but in simple, early ways. After birth, as the brain becomes more coherent, the child’s awareness becomes clearer. Their ability to feel, understand, choose, and perceive grows as the receiver becomes more stable.
This is where the Lattice becomes essential. The Lattice is the field of meaning and information that consciousness interacts with. As the child grows, their alignment — their honesty, discipline, clarity, and intention — determines how well their awareness can tune into this field. A clearer brain, a more coherent emotional system, and a more aligned life allow the soul to express more of its intelligence through the physical body.
In simple terms, the parents build the instrument, the brain becomes the receiver, the soul is the awareness that uses it, and alignment determines how clearly consciousness can tune into the Lattice.
